How do I change the toner cartridge in my Canon imageCLASS D660?

  1. Lift and slide the platen unit lever until the triangular mark appears.
  2. Open the cartridge cover.
  3. Grip the cartridge's end and pull it out of the unit.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Canon D660 toner cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Rock the cartridge up to 6 times to evenly disperse the toner.
  6. Hold the cartridge upward, so that the Canon logo label is facing up.
  7. Place the cartridge with the arrow mark toward the inside of the machine and gently insert the cartridge into the machine as far as it will go.
  8. Close the cartridge cover.
