How to change Canon Pixma Pro 9000 ink cartridges on printer?

  1. Turn on the printer, lift the top cover, and extend the paper output tray.
  2. The ink cartridge carrier will move and settle to the center for ink replacement.
  3. Extend the paper output tray and open the inner cover.
  4. Take out the ink cartridge that has to be replaced. The tank's lamp will blink on and off, indicating which cartridge it is.
  5. Get your new CompAndSave's Canon Pixma 9000 ink cartridges. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes if it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
  6. Remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective cap, if there is, before installing it. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only.
  7. Install the new Canon Pro 9000 ink cartridge into the cartridge holder. Push it until it clicks in place.
  8. The tank's lamp will light red, indicating that you have properly installed the cartridge.
  9. Close all covers that you opened, the inner cover and the top cover.

    I am completely surprised and happy with the purchase. I was about to dispose of my printer because the ink was so expensive and it didn't seem to last long enough. I somehow saw your advertisement and decided to give it a try. So glad I did. THe images print very well and the only issue I had is, When opening one of the inks, a little spilled out. Not sure what happened, but all is well. I even told my brother in law about the inks and he is going to order a supply of them too.
