Brother MFC-J985DW Ink Replacement Guide

  1. Open the ink access door.
  2. Press the release tab for the ink cartridge that needs replacement. Then, take the cartridge out of the machine.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Brother J985DW ink cartridge. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
