How do I install the ink cartridges in my Canon MAXIFY MB5120?
- Turn on your printer, then open the front cover.
- Press the ink tank eject lever up when the ink tank that has to be replaced appears on the touch screen.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon MB5120 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert a new ink tank, aligning it with the machine's installation guide. Slide the ink tank into position until it locks securely into place.
- Tap Exit on the touch screen.
- Close the front cover.
