Canon MP240 Ink Replacement Guide
- Turn on your printer.
- Open the printer's paper output tray and lift the scanning assembly. Use the support to keep it open.
- Wait for the cartridge carriage to move to the replacement position before you proceed.
- Press the tab on the ink cartridge that needs to be replaced to release it, then pull it out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon PIXMA MP240 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new Canon MP240 printer ink cartridge into its respective slot until it is firmly seated in place.
- Put the scanning assembly back into place.
Canon MP240 Ink Cartridges FAQs
What ink cartridge is for Canon MP240?
The Canon PIXMA MP240 printer uses the standard Canon PG-210 black, CL-211 tri-color ink cartridges and the high-yield Canon PGI-210XL and Canon CLI-211XL tri-color ink cartridges. CompAndSave offers replacement Canon ink cartridges that can match and provide the same quality as the OEM without the hefty price tag. Get high-quality printer ink that’s budget-friendly. Learn more about compatible and remanufactured ink cartridges to save more on printing costs.
Are all Canon ink cartridges compatible?
Not all Canon ink cartridges are compatible. The best way to check what specific cartridge your printer uses is by checking your printer's user manual, cartridge package, or by doing a quick search using your printer name. You may also check our find my ink guide, and you will be redirected to the right page.
Why is Canon ink so expensive?
Canon inks are so expensive since big printer companies claim that the technology and process to produce printer inks are costly. However, this is also a way to regain profit for their low-cost printers. They sell expensive original ink cartridges to earn more since you will need to buy more cartridges in the long run. As a consumer, you have the option to use remanufactured or compatible Canon cartridges that will not void your warranty as stated in the MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY IMPROVEMENT ACT, United States Code Annotated Title 15 Commerce Trade Chapter 50, Consumer Product Warranties 15 Sections 2302.
