How do I install the ink cartridges in my Canon PIXMA MG5422?
- Turn on your printer, then open the output tray.
- Pull up the operation panel. The ink cartridge's carriage will automatically move, so make sure to wait for it to stop moving before you proceed completely.
- To remove the ink tank, press the tab and lift it.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon PIXMA MG5422 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- At an angle, insert the front end of the Canon MG5422 printer ink cartridge into the print head. Make sure the ink tank is in the same location as the label. Press down on the ink tank's top until it snaps into place. Make sure the ink lamp is turned on.
