How to change Dell C1765nfw toner cartridge on printer?
- At the right side of the printer is the toner access door. Open it.
- Squeeze the cartridge's tab and gently pull it out of the printer slowly to avoid the spilling of toner powder.
- Get your new CompAndSave Dell C1765nfw toner cartridge, shake the toner cartridge about 4 to 6 times before opening it from the package. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Put the new toner cartridge in by aligning it to the cartridge holder. Push the toner cartridge in until it clicks in place.
- Make sure not to leave the printer open for more than 10 minutes to avoid exposing the imaging unit to direct light.
- Close the access door then print a test page.
Most Common Dell C1765nfw Toner Cartridge Questions
- Is it OK to use compatible toner cartridges?
- The answer is yes. Compatible toners and inks are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. The size, amount of ink, and print quality are designed to be as good as the original ink cartridges. Aside from this, using remanufactured ink cartridges will never void the warranty of your printer. For more information about this, just click ink knowledge base and you will be redirected to the right page.
- How do I find my toner cartridge number?
- To know what type of ink your printer uses, just check the manual that came with the printer. You may also check the existing ink cartridge that is in your printer, in front of it is a label or a sticker with the model number. This model number is used to distinguish the type of ink you should purchase, it is usually a set of numbers of a combination of alphanumeric characters. For example, the Dell C1765nfw printer uses the toner with the model code Dell 3K9XM for the black, Dell FYFKF for the cyan, Dell 5GDTC for magenta, and Dell DG1TR for the yellow toner cartridge.
