HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdw Toner Replacement Guide

  1. Open the printer's front cover.
  2. Grab the blue handle on the toner cartridge drawer, then carefully pull it out.
  3. Grasp the handle on the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced, and then pull the cartridge straight up to remove it.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave HP Color LaserJet Pro M477fdw toner cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case of powder leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. To properly distribute the toner inside the cartridge, gently rock the toner cartridge five to six times.
  6. Insert the new HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw toner cartridge into its respective slot in the drawer until it is firmly seated in place.
