How to Install HP M281dw Toner Cartridges?
- Open the printer's front cover.
- Grab the toner cartridge drawer's handle, then carefully pull it out.
- Grab the toner cartridge that needs to be replace by its handle, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281dw toner cartridge, open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge back and forth and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge to its respective slot.
- Put the toner cartridge drawer back into place and close the printer's front cover.

- What is the difference between 202A and 202X toner?
- In terms of physical size and printer compatibility, HP 202A and HP 202X are practically the same. The only difference is the high yield HP 202X contains more toner powder, which means that it can print more pages compared to the standard yield HP 202A. The high yield HP 202X can print up to 3,200 pages for the black and up to 2,500 pages for cyan, magenta, and yellow. The standard yield HP 202A on the other hand, can only print up to 1,400 pages for the black and up to 1,300 pages for cyan, magenta, and yellow.
