Most Common Kodak EasyShare 5500 Ink Cartridges Questions
- Can Kodak ink cartridges be refilled?
- Yes, Kodak ink cartridges are refillable. You will need to have the proper tools and instructions to refill Kodak ink cartridges. Although this option is more cost-efficient, we highly suggest replacing any empty ink cartridges to avoid any printer or printing issues. CompAndSave offers a wide variety of cheap printer ink cartridges at a much lesser price without compromising their quality. Our ink cartridges are manufactured to meet or exceed the OEM specifications, which will save you from all the trouble of going through the process of refilling an ink cartridge.
- How do I bypass Kodak low ink?
- Most Kodak printer will not allow you to print once it detects an ink cartridge with low ink. To bypass this, you will need to reset the ink cartridge. First, pull out the ink cartridge from the printer, then wipe the contacts of the ink cartridge with a non-abrasive towel or cloth with alcohol and let the alcohol dry. Next is to put or place the ink cartridge into a chip resetter. Followed by pressing and holding down the button on the upper part of the chip resetter for about three to five seconds. You should see a green light indicating that the cartridge has been successfully reset. After this, remove the ink cartridge from the resetter. Lastly, insert the ink cartridge back to the printer and you should be able to print again.
