How do I install Epson PictureMate PM 225 ink cartridges on my printer?

  1. Make sure the PictureMate is on.
  2. Open the cartridge door.
  3. To release the cartridge, slide the cartridge lever to the left.
  4. Remove the old cartridge and properly dispose of it.
  5. Get your new CompAndSave Epson PM 225 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  6. Slide the new Epson PictureMate Charm PM 225 ink cartridge into the slot until it locks into place.
  7. Slide the lever all the way to the right, to the Lock position.
  8. Close the cartridge door.

Next, access Printer Settings, then go to the main tab and then select Quality Option followed by selecting Plain Papers or Envelope for the type setting. After this, put a check in Grayscale option and press OK.

    Fit and worked as described. Not sure how many pictures it will print. Cleaned print head (4) times and printed 2 pictures and it says low ink already. Still investigating could be the printer itself. Reading up on it.
