Brother LC501 Cartridges Ink Installation Guide

  1. Open the printer's ink access cover.
  2. Push the plastic lock lever on top of the cartridge that needs to be replaced to release it, then carefully pull it out of the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Brother LC-501 ink cartridge and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Insert the new ink cartridge into its respective slot, then push it until it snaps lock into place.
  5. Close the printer's ink access cover.

Brother LC501 Cartridges FAQ

Can I use generic ink in Brother printer?

Yes, you can. CompAndSave's generic, compatible, replacement, or remanufactured ink cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and number of prints without paying as much compared to original Brother ink cartridges. Aside from this, using generic ink cartridges will never void the printer's warranty. So you can shop and use our ink cartridges without any worry. Why do Brother printers run out of ink so fast?

The amount of ink your printer use usually depends on the print density. So if you are printing documents or photos with high printing density, then your printer will consume more ink than usual. It is also important to remember that your printer will also use ink whenever it runs the automatic printhead cleaning.
