How do I Change the Ink in My Brother MFC-J470DW?
- Ensure your printer is on.
- Open the printer ink's door or cover.
- Gently press the cartridge's lock lever to release the empty ink and then, slowly remove the printer from its slot.
- Push the cartridge to remove it from printer then, slowly pull it towards you.
- Get your new Brother MFC-J470DW ink cartridges. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Gently insert the new Brother J470DW ink cartridge into the appropriate slot until it clicks into place.
- Close the printer ink's door once done.

The cost of 4 high yield cartridges for my Brother color printer from the popular office supply store in my town cost over $81.00. The compatible 4 high yield cartridges from Comp and Save run just over $13.00. They work exactly the same, last the same amount of time, no printer leaks, no printer jams, no difference at all. Shipping to me in PA takes only a couple of days. Good quality printer ink, unbelievable prices, fast shipping. Not sure what else you could want, unless you enjoy getting ripped off every time you buy ink from someone else other than Comp and Save.
