How do I change the toner on my Brother MFC l8850cdw?
- Turn on your printer first. Pull up the front cover by pressing the release button.
- Take hold of the drum unit's blue handle. Pull out the drum unit until it stops.
- Uninstall the toner cartridge by holding the handle and gently pushing it toward the machine, then pulling it out.
- Get your new CompAndSave Brother L8850 toner. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can avoid any mess in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.

- Insert the drum unit in the machine until it stops.
