How to Install Canon imageRUNNER 1600 Toner Cartridges?
- Open the printer's front cover, then open the stack bypass which can be found on the left side.
- Grab the handle inside, then carefully pull the left cover horizontally.
- Press and hold the release tab, then turn the toner cartridge clockwise to unlock it.
- Grasp the handle of the toner and carefully pull it towards you.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon IR 1600 toner cartridge. Shake the toner for about five to 6 times before opening it from it packaging. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
