How do I install a Canon FP-400 toner cartridge on my printer?

  1. Open the printer cover, then uninstall the used toner cartridge.
  2. Get your new CompAndSave Canon FP-400 printer toner. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  3. Gently shake the toner cartridge up to 6 times to evenly distribute the toner inside.
  4. Insert the toner cartridge inside until it locks into place.
  5. Close the printer’s front cover.

Canon FP-400 Toner Cartridges FAQs

Is it OK to use compatible toner cartridges?
Yes! Compatible, replacement, or remanufactured toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and the number of prints without paying as much compared to the original toner cartridges. Our compatible, replacement, or remanufactured toner cartridges are also covered with a 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee. CompAndSave offers the high yield HP C4129X black toner cartridge for your Canon FP-400 printer. As a consumer, you have the option to use remanufactured or compatible Canon cartridges that will not void your warranty as stated in the MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY IMPROVEMENT ACT, United States Code Annotated Title 15 Commerce Trade Chapter 50, Consumer Product Warranties 15 Sections 2302.
Why are toner cartridges so expensive?
OEM ink and toner manufacturers claim that the high cost of toner cartridges is due to the research and development of technologies to deliver high-quality ink and toner. However, it is worth noting that generic cartridges exceed OEM requirements while being less expensive than their counterparts. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink and toner cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. You can have the same print quality and page output without spending a fortune. Please keep in mind that using generic, remanufactured, or replacement cartridges will never void the warranty on your printer. For additional information, please visit our Ink Knowledge Base page.
