Review for Compatible Canon BCI-3E Black & Canon 6 Ink Cartridges 50-Pack: 10 BCI-3e Black & 10 BCI-6 Black, 10 Cyan, 10 Magenta, 10 YellowCartridges work fine, getting them shipped is another matter; there seems to be a dis-connect between Comp & Save and shipper(FedEx), neither knew the shipping status of my order was or where it physically was. A "request for shipping" label is generated almost immediately - that is the main problem, in that nothing has really been done except to generate a Comp & Save order number - Comp & Save thinks the shipper has it; the shipper thinks Comp & Save has it i.e. no FedEx tracking number. Resolution...when product is ordered the following steps should be done: 1) inform customer via e-mail that order was received a order number was generated and order is being processed internally within Com & Save. 2) when order is fulfilled, inform shipper to pick-up order. 3) when order is picked up, then FedEx generates tracking number and provides the Comp & Save order number AND the associated FedEx tracking number to Comp & Save. 4) Comp & save informs customer via e-mail of his order status, with Comp & Save order number and FedEx tracking number. 5) Product delivered...FedEx & Comp & Save e-mails the customer. I worked in all areas of Computer technology for 50 years - including Automated Warehouse Management. I suspect something is amiss with that system. That system works kinda like, when you buy groceries and the items are scanned...this is a 'P'oint-'o'f 'S'ale (POS) function; the item is deducted from the inventory. Comp & Save generates a order number bar code IMMEDIATELY when order is received and informs FedEx for a pick-up before the ordered product is pulled from the shelf. INSTEAD, inform FedEx when the order is completely fulfilled - which should be at the packaging/shipping area. Questions? My e-mail: Lspeedo@yahoo.comWas this review helpful?
