How do I change the ink in my Canon Pixma MG5720?
- Turn on your printer, then open the control panel.
- When the ink tank light flashes, remove the cartridge by pushing the tab and pulling it out.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon PIXMA MG5720 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Install the Canon MG5720 ink replacement by pressing the PUSH label on the cartridges.
- Check if the ink tank lights up.
- After the cartridges are installed, close the control panel.

They work well and do display ink level unlike the HP cartridges I recently received. The ink life seems as limited as the original Canon cartridges I have bought in the past.
