Canon TS302 Ink Cartridge Replacement Guide

  1. Make sure that the power is turned on, open the front cover, then retract the paper output tray.
  2. Open the paper tray extension.
  3. The cartridge holder automatically moves to the replacement position. Don't try to force open the head cover with your hand.
  4. Remove the empty cartridge by pushing down the ink cartridge unit until it clicks. Then, you can remove the ink cartridge.
  5. Open the new cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid spills. Touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape (usually bright in color) and the plastic protective case (if there is one) before installation.
  6. Carefully insert the new CompAndSave Canon TS302 ink cartridge into the holder at a slanting position. Push up the ink cartridge lock lever to lock the cartridge into place.
  7. The machine won't print unless the colored and black ink cartridges have been installed. Be sure to install both.
  8. Close the paper output tray cover.
