How to install Epson T157 ink cartridges?
- Make sure your printer is on. The power light should be steady and not flashing.
- To access the ink cartridges, just lower down the output tray and open the printer cover.
- Briefly press the power button, the printer ink carriage will automatically move to an area where the cartridge can be replaced. A light indicator will flash or stay on for the ink cartridge that needs to be replaced.
- To release the ink cartridge, press both tabs at the end and pull it out of the printer.
- Get your new Epson T157 ink cartridge. Shake the ink cartridge for about 4 to 6 times before opening it from the package. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess if it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Place the new ink cartridge vertically into the cartridge holder. Then, push the ink cartridge down until it clicks into place.
- Close the ink cartridge cover, then try to print a test page.

- Yes, you can have it refilled up to three times as long as it is the genuine cartridge and not the generic or remanufactured one.
