How do I install Epson Stylus Color 740i ink cartridges?
- Turn on your printer. Open the printer cover.
- Press and hold the cleaning button for roughly 3 seconds, or until the print head moves to the left and the power light flashes.
- To detach the ink cartridge from its holder, pull up the clamp. Lift up the used cartridge.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson Stylus Color 740i ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
