How to change Epson WorkForce 1100 ink cartridges on printer?

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on. Then open the printer cover by lifting it.
  2. To check which ink cartridge is needed to be replaced, just press the "Ink Drop" icon button. The carriage will move to the area where cartridges can be replaced, avoid pressing the Ink Icon button for more than 3 seconds as printer will automatically do printhead cleaning.
  3. Open the ink cartridge cover to reveal the ink cartridges. Gently press the tab at the end of the cartridge to unlock it, then pull it out from the printer.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave's Epson WorkForce 1100 ink cartridge, open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Insert the Epson WorkForce 1100 ink cartridge to its respective slot until it snaps lock into place.
  6. Close the ink cartridge and printer cover. Press the "Ink Drop" button to start the ink charging process, wait until the power light stops blinking to avoid wasting ink.
