How to change Epson WorkForce EC-C7000 ink cartridges on printer?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- To start the ink replacement process, press the "Home" button, then "Settings", followed by "Maintenance", then "Ink Cartridge Replacement" and lastly press "Start".
- Carefully raise the printer's scanning until it stays in place. Then open the lid covering the ink cartridges.
- Avoid moving the printhead by hand or manually and avoid touching the cables inside the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson EC-C7000 ink cartridge, shake it for about four to six times before opening from the package. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the Epson EC-C7000 ink cartridge to its respective slot. Gently push it in until it snaps into place.
- Close the lid cover for the ink cartridge and put the scanning unit back in place. The printer will go through the ink charging process, let this run until it's done to avoid wasting ink.
