How to change Epson WF-3620 ink cartridges on printer?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on. If an ink cartridge or cartridges are empty, you will see a message on the printer which cartridge or cartridges are needed to be replaced. If you are changing ink before it runs out, then on the printer control panel just go to 'Setup', then 'Maintenance', followed by 'Ink cartridge replacement'.
- To access the ink cartridges, just simply lift the scanner lid of the printer then open the ink cartridge access cover.
- Gently push the plastic tab by the end of the ink cartridge to release it then pull it out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave's Epson WF-3620 ink cartridge, open it over a sink or garbage can avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Gently shake the ink cartridge about 10 times. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the Epson WF-3620 ink cartridge to its respective slot. You should hear a snap indicating that it's locked in place.
- Close the scanner lid and keep the printer turned on while it's on the priming process to avoid wasting ink. Then print a test page once it's done.
