How to Install HP LaserJet 410A Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's toner access door.
  2. Grab the handle on the toner cartridge drawer, then carefully pull it out.
  3. Grab the handle on the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced, then pull it out from the printer.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave HP 410A cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Insert the new HP410A toner cartridge into its respective slot until it is firmly seated in place.
  6. Push the toner cartridge drawer back in place and close the toner access door.

HP LaserJet 410A Toner Cartridges FAQ's

What is the difference between HP 410A and HP 410X?
In terms of size and printer compatibility HP 410A and HP 410X are practically the same. The only difference is the high yield HP 410X can print more pages compared to the standard yield HP 410A toner cartridges. Standard yield HP 410A can only print up to 2,300 pages for the black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. The high yield HP 410X, on the other hand can print up to 6,500 pages for black and up to 5,000 pages for cyan, magenta, and yellow.
Can you refill toner cartridges yourself?

Yes, you can; however, it is not recommended since you have to replace some parts of the toner as well. If you think of refilling an empty toner cartridge, please bear in mind the following pros and cons. The major advantage of refilling is cost-efficiency. It'll be a way cheaper option rather than purchasing a new genuine one. On the other hand, refilled toner cartridges can have issues with the print quality and durability. Toner consists of different parts such as rolling gears, cleaning blades and etc. These parts wore out over time which can cause noise when printing, low-quality printouts, and even leakage inside the printer. Another thing to look into is the imaging drum; it holds the image before the toner powder is applied to the paper. Just like the toner, parts of the imaging drum also wear and tear over time.

To sum it all up, we highly encourage you to have it refilled through stores that offer refilling services instead. If you choose to purchase a new one, we at CompAndSave offer a wide variety of cheap printer toner cartridges at a much lesser price without compromising its quality. Our toners are manufactured to meet or exceed the OEM specifications, which will save you from all the trouble of going through the process of refilling a toner cartridge.
