How To Install HP Color LaserJet 2700 Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's front door.
  2. Carefully pull and remove the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave HP LaserJet 2700 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new HP 2700 toner cartridge to its respective slot until it is firmly seated in place.
  5. Close the printer's front door.

HP Color LaserJet 2700 Toner Cartridges FAQs

Why is HP toner so expensive?
OEM ink and toner manufacturers claim that the high cost of these cartridges is due to the research and development of technologies to deliver high-quality ink and toners. However, it is worth noting that there are generic cartridges that exceed OEM requirements while being less expensive than their counterparts. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink and toner cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. That means to say, you can have the same print quality and page output without spending a fortune. Please keep in mind that using generic, remanufactured, or replacement cartridges will never void the warranty on your printer. For additional information, please visit our Ink Knowledge Base.
Is toner cheaper than ink?
Yes, toner cartridges are cheaper compared to regular ink cartridges in the long run. Laser printers that use toner cartridges are designed for office use which requires a lot of printing. Inkjet printers, on the other hand, are mostly for home or small office use. Typically a toner can print from 1,000 to 30,000 pages, while ink cartridges can print up to 100 to 3,000 pages at 5% page coverage depending on their make and model. With that being said, the cost-per-page of a toner cartridge is much cheaper compared to regular ink cartridges, making it a better option, especially if you print a lot on a daily basis.
