How do I install HP LaserJet 5550 toner cartridge on my printer?
- Lift your printer’s top cover. Pull down the front cover.
- Pull down the transfer unit by grasping the green handles.
- Removed the used toner cartridge.

Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Shake the cartridge gently to distribute the toner powder evenly.
- Insert the HP 5550 toner cartridge into the machine by aligning it with the tracks. Make sure it snaps lock into place.
- Close the front cover, then the top cover. The control panel will show Ready.
