How to Install HP DesignJet 1050c Ink Cartridges?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- If you are replacing a low ink cartridge, just go to the 'Main Menu', then 'Ink System Menu', followed by pressing 'Enter'. The next step is to select 'Replace Ink Cartridge', then press 'Enter', and lastly choose 'Yes (Replace)' and press 'Enter' to confirm.
- Push the ink cartridge that needs to be replaced inward and upward to release it. Then pull it out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP 1050c ink cartridge, open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
