How to change HP LaserJet 8000n toner cartridges on printer?

  1. Open the printer's top cover.
  2. Carefully pull and remove the toner cartridge out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave HP 8000n toner cartridge, gently shake the toner about 5 to 6 times before removing the plastic protective case. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the HP 8000n toner cartridge to its slot until the toner is secured in place.
  5. Close the printer's top cover.

Most Common HP LaserJet 8000n Toner Cartridges Questions

Can I throw away empty toner cartridges?
About 1.3 billion cartridges are used every year. That is why it is highly preferred that toner and ink cartridges are recycled than letting them end up in landfills. You can bring your empty toner to local or big retailers or even at your local recycling facility. You can also check some websites online like earth911.com to look for recycling options for your cartridges.
How do I know if my printer needs toner?
Even before a depletion ink warning shows on your printer's or computer's display, you'll notice that your toner is nearing the end of its usable life if it creates streaked, smeared, or faded lines that won't go away even after you've cleaned the print heads. If this happens, you may get new toner cartridges from CompAndSave. Our toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and number of prints without paying as much.
