How do I install Lexmark X560n toner cartridges?

  1. Turn off the Lexmark printer.
  2. To remove and lower the front door, press the button on the printer's left side.
  3. To discard the used toner cartridge, push the release button and pull on the handle.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Lexmark X560n cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Firmly shake the cartridge side-to-side and front-to-back several times to redistribute toner.
  6. Install the new toner cartridge by pushing it in as far as it will go. When properly fitted, the toner cartridge snaps into position.
  7. Close the front door and turn on the printer when done.

Lexmark X560n Toner Cartridge FAQs

How long do toner cartridges last?
CompAndSave's toner cartridges have a proven shelf life of 20 months. It is ideal to store the toner cartridge properly in a cool, dry place to ensure that it reaches its shelf life. If the answer that you are seeking is the page yield, that will depend on how the toner cartridge was manufactured and how much toner the cartridge can hold. CompAndSave offers the high yield Lexmark X560 toner cartridges in black, cyan, magenta and yellow that can print up to 10,000 sheets each at 5% page yield.
Is laser toner cheaper than ink?
Yes, toner cartridges are cheaper compared to regular ink cartridges in the long run. Laser printers that use toner cartridges are designed for office use which requires a lot of printing. Inkjet printers, on the other hand, are mostly for home or small office use. Typically a toner can print from 1,000 to 30,000 pages, while ink cartridges can print up to 100 to 3,000 pages at 5% page coverage depending on their make and model. With that being said, the cost-per-page of a toner cartridge is much cheaper compared to regular ink cartridges, making it a better option, especially if you print a lot on a daily basis.
