How to change Lexmark Z22 ink cartridges on printer?

  1. Plug the machine to the power source and turn it on.
  2. Open the printer cover. This will automatically move the ink cartridge carrier ready for cartridge installation.
  3. Remove the expended ink cartridges from the holder by pulling them and lifting them out.
  4. From your computer, open control panel, click on the Cartridge tab and select Change Cartridges.
  5. A dialog box will appear with a step by step guide that you should follow.
  6. Get your new CompAndSave's Lexmark Z2273 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
  7. Remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
