How to Install Okidata B420dn Toner Cartridges?
- Turn off the printer and let it cool for at least ten minutes.
- Open the printer's top cover by pressing the cover release button.
- Turn the lock lever to unlock position to release the cartridge, then pull it out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Oki B420dn toner cartridge, open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge, left side first, into the slot. Turn the lock lever back to lock position to secure the cartridge
- Close the printer's top cover.
