How to Install Ricoh Aficio SP 1210N Toner Cartridges?
- Verify that the printer is turned on and then open the printer's front cover.
- Carefully pull the toner cartridge and the drum unit assembly out from the printer.
- Remove the toner cartridge out from the drum unit assembly by pressing the green lock lever.
- Get your new CompAndSave Ricoh SP 1210N toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it snaps lock into place. Slide the blue tab back and forth several times to clean the corona wire.
- Insert the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the printer.
- Close the printer's front cover.
