How to Install Ricoh Aficio SP 4210N Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's front cover by pressing the cover release button.
  2. Raise the toner cartridge to release it, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Ricoh SP 4210N toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the slot, and push it down until it is firmly seated in place.
  5. Close the printer's front cover.

What is the difference between compatible and OEM cartridges?
OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toners cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts, but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much lower price.
