How to Install Xerox VersaLink B405 Toner Replacement?
- Open the printer's front cover.
- Turn the lock lever to unlock position until it snaps unlock position.
- Remove the toner from the drum unit by holding the drum unit in place and hold the toner cartridge's handle. Then carefully pull the toner cartridge out from the drum unit.
- Get your new CompAndSave Xerox B405 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge for about five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner. Then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new toner for Xerox VersaLink B405 into the drum unit until it is firmly seated in place.
- Turn the lock lever back to locked position, then close the printer's front cover.
