How to Install Xerox WorkCentre 5225 Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's front cover.
  2. Grab the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced by the handle, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Xerox 5225 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the slot until it clicks into place.
  5. Close the printer's front cover.

Are toner cartridges cheaper than ink cartridges?
In terms of cost-per-page, laser toner cartridges are cheaper compared to regular inkjet cartridges. This is because toner cartridges are designed for office or business use which requires a large amount of printing on a daily basis, while inkjet cartridges are mainly for small office or home use. A toner cartridge can print up to 1,000 to 45,000 pages depending on their yield, while regular inkjet cartridges can only print from 100 to 1000 pages. So with that being said, a toner cartridge can be way cheaper compared to regular ink in the long run.
