Brother MFC-420CN Ink Cartridges FAQs
- How do I get my Brother printer to accept compatible cartridges?
- By default, compatible, replacement, or remanufactured ink cartridges should automatically work without doing any configuration. But in case your printer didn't print after installing these types of cartridges, the first thing to do is to verify that you are installing the correct cartridge. To verify this, you may check the printer's manual or check the previous cartridge that works on your printer. In front or on the side should be a label with the model number. For example, the Brother MFC-420CN printer uses a cartridge that has the model code of Brother LC-41. Once this is verified, the next step is to remove the cartridge and reinstall it back to your printer. You should hear a click indicating that the cartridge is properly installed inside the machine, then turn off your printer for 15 minutes. - Will Brother printers work with generic ink?
- Absolutely! CompAndSave's generic, compatible, replacement, or remanufactured ink cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and the number of prints without paying as much compared to original Brother ink cartridges. Aside from this, using generic ink cartridges will never void the printer's warranty, so you can shop and use our ink cartridges without any worry.
