How to install Canon ink 250 251 XL cartridges?
- Open the ink access door.
- Press the release tab for the old ink cartridge that needs replacement. Then take the cartridge out of the machine.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon ink 250 and 251 XL cartridges. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess if it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Install the new ink cartridge into the ink carrier following the direction of the arrow.
- Push the cartridge into its respective slot until it clicks in place.
- Make sure to check the ink cartridges are secured before closing the ink access door.
