Canon i-SENSYS LBP122dw Toner Replacement Guide

  1. Close the printer's paper stopper and then open the toner cartridge cover.
  2. Carefully pull and remove the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Canon i-SENSYS LBP122dw printer toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges.
  4. Gently shake the toner cartridge five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Align and install the new toner cartridge into the printer until it is firmly seated in place.
  6. Close the toner cartridge cover.

Canon i-SENSYS LBP122dw Toner Cartridges FAQs

Why is Canon toner so expensive?

OEM ink and toner manufacturers claim that the high cost of toner cartridges is due to the research and development of technologies to deliver high-quality ink and toner. However, it is worth noting that there are generic cartridges that exceed OEM requirements while being less expensive than their counterparts. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink and toner cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. That is to say; you can have the same print quality and page output without spending a fortune. Please keep in mind that using generic, remanufactured, or replacement cartridges will never void the warranty on your printer. What is cheaper toner or ink?

Yes, toner cartridges are cheaper compared to regular ink cartridges in the long run. Laser printers that use toner cartridges are designed for office use which requires a lot of printing. Inkjet printers, on the other hand, are mostly for home or small office use. Typically a toner can print from 1,000 to 30,000 pages, while ink cartridges can print up to 100 to 3,000 pages depending on their make and model. With that being said, the cost-per-page of a toner cartridge is much cheaper compared to regular ink cartridges, making it a better option, especially if you print a lot on a daily basis.

Is it OK to use compatible toner cartridges?

Yes, compatible, replacement, or remanufactured toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and number of prints without paying as much compared to the original toner cartridges. Our compatible, replacement, or remanufactured toner cartridges are also covered with 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee, and using these types of toner cartridges will not void your printer's warranty.
