How to change Canon MX920 ink cartridges on printer?
- Turn the printer on and extend the paper output tray.
- Lift the printer cover.
- Open the ink cartridge holder. This will automatically move the ink cartridge carrier ready for cartridge installation and avoid touching the FINE cartridge holder until it stops completely.
- A light will flash on the cartridge that needs replacement. Push the tab and lift the tank to release it.
- If you need to replace multiple cartridges, make sure to do so one at a time. Do not remove two cartridges at once.
- Get your new CompAndSave's Canon MX920 series ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes if it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
- Make sure to touch the black plastic part only and remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective cap, if there is, before installing it.

- Push the cartridge all the way in until it clicks into place. A red light should lit up on the cartridge.
- Close the ink cartridge holder's cover and the scanner to start the print head cleaning. Let this process complete on its own before making any operations.
