Canon PIXMA TR8620 Ink Replacement Guide

  1. Turn on your printer, then lift the scanner assembly.
  2. The print head holder will move to its cartridge replacement position. Do not touch the print head holder while it's moving.
  3. Push the tab at the end of the cartridge that needs to be replaced to release it, then pull it out from the printer.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Canon TR8620 ink cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess if it leaks, as sometimes. Factories tend to overfill cartridges. Remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it. Make sure that you only touch the black plastic part.
  5. Insert the new Canon PIXMA TR8620 ink cartridge into its respective slot until it clicks into place.
  6. Put the scanner assembly back into place.
