Open the ink top cover of the tank that needs to refilled.
Get your new CompAndSave Epson 8550 ink bottle and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. No need to shake the ink bottles.
Carefully align and insert the ink bottle into the tank inlet that needs refilling. Let the ink bottle fill the tank on its own, and do not squeeze the bottle.
Once the tank is adequately filled, remove and secure the ink tank bottle.
Put the scanner lid back into place and go to 'Maintenance', followed by 'Fill Ink', then follow the instruction on how to reset the ink level to avoid any error.
