Epson 4100 Ink Replacement Guide
- Make sure that the printer is turned on, then gently lift the scanner lid of the printer until you hear a snap.
- Squeeze the tab on the ink cartridge and lift the cartridge straight up to remove it.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson 4100 ink cartridge, and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Install the new Epson XP-4100 ink cartridges immediately after removing the old one. If you do not, the print head may dry out and be unable to print.
- Insert the new ink for Epson XP-4100 and push it down until it clicks into place.
- Lastly, select 'Completed' on the LCD screen.

The problem was with the agent. I was told an order back, that if a cartridge was defective that it would be replaced. That was not what happened. The agent would not accept my story. It was a young lady that I'd spoken with. The agent still didn't honor what I had been told. He said that there was no note in my file as to it being received. I asked him was his this the way the company wished to address this. I have been a customer for a while now, and if that was his answer that was it.
