How To Install Epson Stylus C120 Ink Cartridges?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- Open the printer's top cover and press the Ink icon button. Wait for the printhead to move at the replacement position.
- Open the ink access cover and press the tab at the end of the cartridge to release it. Then, pull the cartridge out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson C120 ink cartridge. Shake the toner cartridge before opening it from the package. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new ink cartridge to its respective slot, push it in until it snaps lock into place.
- Close the ink access cover and the printer's top cover. Press the Ink icon button again to start the ink charging process. Let this run until it's done to avoid wasting ink.

- How do I get my Epson printer to recognize compatible cartridges?
- First, make sure that the ink cartridge you installed on your printer is the right model number. To verify this, check the printer's manual or the last ink cartridge that worked on your printer. Look for the model number, which consists of alphanumeric characters. For example, the Epson Stylus C120 printer uses the ink cartridge with the model code of Epson 69 and Epson 68 ink cartridges. Next, your printer might have trouble reading the ink cartridge. To fix this issue, remove the ink cartridge from the printer, then wipe the copper part of the cartridge with a damp non-abrasive towel or cloth. - Can you override printer cartridge empty Epson?
- By default, most Epson printer models stop printing when an ink cartridge runs out. You may temporarily print with just black, but remember it is recommended to always replace any empty ink cartridges to avoid printer issues. To temporarily print with only black, stop and cancel any pending print job through the Epson printer program. Next, access Printer Settings, then go to the main tab and then select Quality Option followed by selecting Plain Papers or Envelope for the type setting. After this, put a check in Grayscale option and press OK.
