Epson WorkForce Pro WF-C5890 Ink Replacement Guide
- Open the Front Cover. Gently pull it open to access the cartridges.
- Remove the Used Cartridge.
- Prepare the New T10W Ink Cartridge.
- Shake the cartridge gently side to side 4–5 times (for 5 seconds). Do NOT remove the label or plastic seal — only remove the yellow pull tab if present.
- Insert the new cartridge into the correct color slot. Push it in firmly until it clicks into place.
- Close the Ink Cartridge Cover.

Will my Epson printer work with just black ink?
By default, most Epson printer models stop printing when a color ink cartridge runs out. You may temporarily print with just black, but remember it is recommended to always replace any empty ink cartridges to avoid printer issues. To temporarily print with only black, stop and cancel any pending print job through the Epson printer program. Next is, to access "Printer Settings". Go to the main tab and then select "Quality Option", followed by selecting "Plain Papers" or "Envelope" for the type setting. After this put a check in "Grayscale" option and press "OK".
