How to change Epson WorkForce WF-7710 ink cartridges on printer?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on. If you are replacing the ink cartridge before the printer message, just press the"Home" button, then "Settings", followed by "Maintenance", next is "Ink Cartridge Replacement" and lastly press the "Start" button.
- Lift the scanner lid of the printer to access the ink cartridges. Avoid touching the white cables inside the printer and do not lift the scanner unit if the document cover is open.
- Open the ink cartridge cover, then gently press the tab at the end of the cartridge to release it. Carefully pull the cartridge out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave's Epson WorkForce WF-7710 ink cartridge, shake it for about four to six times before opening from the package. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the Epson WorkForce WF-7710 ink cartridge to its respective slot and gently push it until it snaps lock into place.
- Close the scanner lid, then printer will go through the ink charging process. Let this process finish to avoid wasting ink.
