Epson WF-7720 Ink Cartridges Replacement Guide

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. Raise the printer's scanner assembly. Avoid touching the cable inside the printer.
  3. Open the lid covering the ink cartridges then press the tab at the end of the cartridge to release it.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Epson WorkForce WF-7720 ink cartridge. Shake the ink cartridge for about 4 to 5 times before opening it from the package. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Insert the new Epson WorkForce 7720 ink cartridge to its respective slot. Gently push it until it snaps lock into place.
  6. Put the scanner assembly back into place. Let the printer finish the ink charging process to avoid wasting ink.

Will my Epson printer work with just black ink?

By default, most Epson printer models stop printing when a color ink cartridge runs out. You may temporarily print with just black, but remember it is recommended to always replace any empty ink cartridges to avoid printer issues. To temporarily print with only black, stop and cancel any pending print job through the Epson printer program. Next is, to access "Printer Settings".
