What is printer toner?

Toner is plastic powder would be the answer to the question "What is a printer toner?" It is used to print files by using a laser printer.

Toner contains small plastic beads and pigments. When paper is fed through the printer, the paper is electrically charged. The toner is attracted to the charged areas on the toner drum and is transferred to the paper. The paper and toner are heated and the plastic beads melt. The heat burns the toner onto the paper, causing it to stick. This is why the paper sometimes feels warm when it first comes out of the printer.
