Is laser toner cheaper than ink?
In terms of cost-per-page, laser toner cartridges are cheaper compared to the regular inkjet cartridges. This is because toner cartridges are designed for office or business use which requires a large amount of printing on a daily basis, while inkjet cartridges are mainly for small office or home use. A toner cartridge can print up to 1,000 to 45,000 pages depending on its yield, while a regular inkjet cartridge can only print from 100 to 1000 pages. With that being said, a toner cartridge can be way cheaper compared to a regular ink in the long run. CompAndSave offers replacement standard yield HP 642A toner cartridges for your HP Color LaserJet CP4005 printer. The standard yield black, cyan, magenta, and yellow toners have a page yield of up to 7,500 each at 5% page coverage.
