- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- To access the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw toner cartridge access door, simply press the release button, which can be found on the left side of the printer.
- Gently pull out the toner cartridge drawer, then pull the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced.
